Digi Camera TZ5

Been after a Panasonic TZ5 for a while and didn't want to pay the £280 asking price.

Jessops wanted £285 when I enquired in the shop but after skirting round the net, and not wanting purchase from somewhere i wasn't sure of came across Jessops online.

On the website they listed the price as £195 and with the discount code 10PLUS10 it was down to £176.15.

And the mad thing is I pick it up and pay for it in the shop where its 285!!

That's probably why they are losing business and have had to close a few shops...

I've had a TZ5 for about 6 months now. It's a brilliant little camera.

I paid £200 inc a spare battery, case and 2 x 8gb cards.

Ordered online, but picked up from a shop in Bristol, as I was on a job there!

Going to have to disagree with you there, sales are up on last year for this period according to the FT and if anythings slowing them down I'd say it was probably the quoteunquote global economic crisis!

Surprised they haven't price matched to the listed price though. Did some IT work for them just last year and they always matched prices, although NOT discounts, such as that discount code you described.

P.S. you should tell them to charge the difference to "good will"
