5" silencer on the bay

NTDWM but spotted these for sale this morning. Following the silencer purchase thread and attempted group buy thought people might be interested. Looked a good price, what do we think?

Interesting, but not a lot of detail, in fact no detail at all.

For instance- 2" inlet, is that internal or external diameter? and how much silencing is it going to provide?

They should be repackable, the end cap is riveted in the picture. The noise will depend how well they are packed, you might be able to tailor it to your own requirements.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

I asked Martin but he said it will depend on the engine...... I told him mine is a ZX9 and asked if he could quote an example from someone with one fitted.

He confirmed they are brand new and ends are SVA OK. Aren't all repackable exhausts rivetted so you have to drill them out or is it that you need to be able to dismantle them once the ends are removed? I will email Martin.

brilliant, think this is the way to go. Do we know if they are the same as the more expensive option that someone went for following the group buy that never happened?

does seem very cheap to me.

assume they will be packed already?
