I am not keen on unbranded stuff, it can be absolute pants and then what do you do?
May well be better off paying a bit more and getting
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CLARKE-PRO-GAS-GASLES-150-AMP-PRO-GARAGE-MIG-WELDER_W0QQitemZ180434805972QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_3?hash=item2a02c0a4
d4
which is the one I got. Far better than a sip and will handle most stuff
Just noticed, that yellow one only has 4 settings That may be a problem

Can't offer much comment on the welder but bear in mind that it will need a 16A supply (which could be a deciding factor)

What about THIS one? The only thing
that is putting me off here is where it says about a 30amp fused spur? What do they mean buy this?

link is to an email??
A 30A fused spur is a 30amp supply from your fusebox, dedicated I suppose is what they mean. 150A is about the most you can use on a 13A plug, but
being honest unless you use the highest power settings you will be OK, or it will just blow the plug fuse! Easy enough to wire in a 16A outlet, I
guess this is still allowed with all the daft electrical regs. OK, not daft, just irritating, especially as anybody can just walk into an electrical
wholesaler and buy anything

hi, personally wouldnt touch the first one as i like to see a known brand name and the clarke one looks ok but for your use id strongly recommend a
gas welder everyone ive heard of using gasless thinks theyre pants oh and theres no way that a 150 amp clarke welder needs a 30 amp supply that would
run off an ordinary 13 amp plug all day also my 195te (which i was told needed a 16amp supply) is plugged in with an ordinary plug into my garage ring
main and its never even warmed up the plug
keep looking methinks
