savage billet switches - cheap!

Just found that RS stock the "savage" billet switches, £12.20 each which is even cheaper than the £15 "show price" I just had them for at stoneleigh

That will be +vat and delivery, so not much of a saving unless you buy a load of them.

still only £14 odd after vat and I live by an RS so no delivery, a lot better than CBS at £21 a switch, plus I get trade through work which a lot of people on here would too I suspect

Cheers

Don't look like it to me, the reason I found them is I bought 3 at stoneleigh, all of which were sold to me as latching but 1 is not, I rang today and trilogy (main importer) who sold me them said "tough sh1t, refund or you buy a blank latching one and swap the face yourself", very helpfull I must say, thanks Trilogy.

So I looked in the RS in work and found something that looked similar to just buy a latching body for and swap all the billet guff over thereby solving the problem on the cheap, when I got home, compared it to the "savage" one and sure enough, it's made by Apem, contact part number A0152B, same as the momentary one in RS, and the body and dimensions are the same.

Anyway, I'm off to buy this tomorrow :LINK and I'll swap over the billet front to make my one latching.

If only we weren't suckers for all this ally crap we'd save a fortune................
