can a puncture still be repaired normally if this stuff has been used on the tyre before? In the past ive been led to believe that it can do more bad than good?

ill be going to asda tomorrow then. I already have one can zip tied to the roll cage. No harm in having a second considering im doing over a 1000 miles next weekend to the ring and back!

Track days ARE the best thing since sliced bread, until I get a supercharger that is!

When you take the tyre off after using it the inside is covered in a milky white stuff. Does not seem to do any harm and I plugged a puncture after using it with no harmfull effects.

I've been running my ride on mower tyres on it for 5 years - used to get punctures every week from the thorns from the hedge now its one can between 4 small tyres at the start of the season and Bingo! no more punctures.

Not so sure about this for a road tyre that gets hot though

The documentation on this stuff says that you should only use it to get home. But I had an old Golf that had a slow puncture which I fixed with this, and it lasted for 3 years until I sold it.

Don't tell me off. It was 18 years ago, and it was a rear wheel on a Mk1 (the back wheels are mostly for show on those). I wouldn't encourage this behaviour, but this stuff is good.

Tes it can be repaired, but the repairman must be very thorogh cleaning the rubber where the patch will glue if not it can come off.

Jacko
Most regular tires won´t need additional air, when you finish inflating with the can it will look kind of flat, but after rolling a couple af km, it will rise some pressure.
Well, at least the bramd I use here in Mexico.

Beware of what you wish.. for it may come true....
