it's a bargain alright, but would check the V5 carefully as the first part is a bit worrying:

comes up as sylva stryker on DVLA, maunfactured 1976, but suppose that could be the donor car date of manufacture ?

Mine was the same - the V5 showed the SVA date but it did have a much earlier first manufactured date. I think this was the norm at one stage... I wouldn't be at all concerned.

thats a very good price. Less than half i paid for mine. You could revamp the whole car and fit a 4age in and it still cost less. Strikers just dont come up that often.
I would love that wet weather top he has got. That would be great for mine.
