Bargain on PH! Tuned ZZR1200 Engine!

Assuming this engine is 'as-described', then it has to be a bit of a bargain!

ZZR14 / Busa power for £800

Wonders if the mounts are different between the 11 and the 12?

zzr12 V's zx12r

How Different are the zzr12 and zx12r engines, my guess is quite different because if my time line is correct the zzr is of slightly older origin and the zxr was intended to dethrone the busa but was detuned at the last minute because of fears there might be backlash legislation from authorities.

I guess what I’m getting at is this - if the above is correct the zzr12 will be relatively highly stressed at 200hp also will probably be quite peaky, where as a standard zx12r gets you close without tuning and available for sensible money (half busa prices). Mild tuning will get you busa power without such reduction in reliability.

Just my 2p

I know the seller, it'll be right too NTDWM though, if any one is looking for a cheap bike engine this will fit the bill

I did not think that Holeshot's dyno was that innacurate.... 200BHP from a ZZR1200 on carbs?
Even Powertec would not claim that
