Low energy bulbs.......19p Aldi

Was in the local Aldi today, picked up a couple 20w(100w eqiv) and they rang up at 19 pence each

Don't use them a lot due to the slow light up times but they are great in garage lead lights.

Big advantage in garage lights is - they don't go pop if you knock or drop it 6 inches.

99p for six 11w ones in Wickes. I've got two high output 54w T5 tubes in my garage. Very bright but give off a wierd blue light cos meant for a marine aquarium.

i got some for 10p at tesco. i don't even pay the leccy bills but i've stuck one in the outside light that stays on all night every night.

means i can't get moaned at when i leave x, y or z on overnight because i've already saved it
