Cheap Furore F1 kit available
Sadly a customer of mine passed away last year & I am trying to help his widow out with the kit he was building.
It's one of our Furore F1's, & is a complete bike engine chassis kit to get you to the rolling chassis stage, he was intending to fit
a ZZR1100 (avoids Cat test) & had purchased an engine & all running gear (complete bike actually!), our engine cradle & diff kit. He also
had all Toyota MR2 parts to complete the build plus a very nice set of Borbet wheels & Toyo tyres (just over £1000!), not sure if he'd
refurbed all the Toyota bits or not.
He'd done very little work on the actual build I believe, but had upgraded it to the new high nose option, all parts were powder coated & I
think he got all suspension bushes fitted etc. This would be a very complete kit, you'd need to add the bodywork, which I can happily supply,
but other than that it would be a few bits & pieces like steering wheel, seat belts, mirrors & lights. All the main stuff is there & ready
to go, viz, chassis, suspension, shocks, brakes, hubs driveshafts, diff, seats, tank, rad, engine, etc etc etc
I would guess the whole lot probably stands in around £7k, I don't know exactly what she wants for it, but I would expect around half that,
depending on just how much of it goes in one hit.
One downside is it up in Scotland, near to Glasgow. I would really like to see the kit get built & am happy to help out with any technical
knowledge, assistance & parts as I would to any other customer - would be nice to see it go to someone on here.
