Similar price to lidl when they get them in, I own two and would never ever use one to fit an engine, unless you want your fingers removing. They are
way to jerky. Better off buying a used hydraulic one off ebay for £75 then selling it for £75 when you're done with it.
My last garage had a huge loft so used the electric hoist to lift heavy stuff up and down, but that's all they're good for.
