That's a common enough thing sellers do when they have no stock, rather than end and pay for a relisting they up the price and keep the add
live, then reduce the price again when they get stock
Do the right thing, right, first time!
If only it was that simple!

I suppose they would have to prove it, I dont think there is any stipulation on what you can charge on eBay.
