EBay weirdness
Just done a best offer on an eBay ad for an accelerator pedal that was advertised with free shipping. It got accepted but they now want £4.95 shipping
which takes it up to the original price! The seller claims it was free collection only but my screen shot suggests otherwise.
Anyone else had this? Is it an eBay bug or is the seller pulling a fast one on me?

I've had similar experiences with some ebay sellers that state free shipping to mainland UK, then when you buy they charge for shipping because
I live in the highlands, which last time I checked was mainland uk.

If it said free post, and he's invoiced you with 4.95 postage, he's pulling a fast one, report him to ebay with the evidence, unless you
really want the pedal, or, he specified free postage with BIN only...

did you put any conditions with the offer or did he have conditions
Think about it, think about it again and then do it.

No, I didn't put any conditions nor notice any on the sale.
It still shows free shipping in my basket but adds £4.95 when checking out
