Not quite so little
Nice though.

I would guess that there is a realistic reserve. You could bid 99p to find out. If you win, you've only lost 99p.

I think i just wet myself!
Although 1974 would be a N plate. Obviously could be a private plate.
I'm willing to gamble 99p to find out.
Especially with no reserve. Although with 18000 views someone else might be willing to gamble £1 and beat me!
Edited to say, from the pics its looks like its in the US! Might not be worth the flight over there!

might be legit.
its 99p start, but reserved to pre approved bidders. so the bloke really wants an offer, not an auction.... way of saving ebay fees...
or its a scam, who knows......

Just to put it into context. Someone I knew had a DB5 of similar vintage. "Returning her to her original glory" cost the thick end of
£55,000 - even at 99p it could still cost wongas of money and I notice there's no invitation to view before buying. Cheers, Pewe

Is that a flash plate on the back or has he half blanked the plate?

Its an American number plate! Look at a few of the pics, all the houses and streets look American and there is a big truck in one of them.
Smells like a scam to me.

There seem to be loads of these dodgy adverts on ebay at the moment
Adverts for desirable cars and bikes at very low prices - often with the seller saying they are in London - with shots taken from American ebay....
Last week there was a one year old fireblade for £1950 from a newly registered ebayer claiming to be in London with obviously American cars and houses
in the background.
nice try suckers!

When I has some time over Christmas I strung one of these scamming numpties along. I wanted to see how the scam worked.
Turns out it's a variation on the usual theme where they want to pay you a cheque for over the odds so that you overlook the fact the car is in
Milan or whatever and needs to be shipped to you. You pay them the difference, car never arrives and then the original cheque bounces. As soon as I
offered to go and see the car in Milan and pay cash the scammer went quiet.
Not funny at all really and I cannot understand why ebay don't pull the ads or make it easier to report them.

Its an American number plate!
It's a 1964 British plate and the truck is a Toyota driving on the left hand side of the road as per U.K.
RAC check comes up with the right details but
not the year, it never gets the old stuff right.

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

I emailed him when the thread first came up, just got a reply
"Hello, Sorry for the delay, my computer has been down and I was not able to check my email. This is an 1974 Aston Martin V8 .It's in
showroom condition, no scratches, no dents, accident-free, full Aston Martin service history,HPI clear. It's a RHD vehicle, UK supplied car (NOT
AN IMPORT). The price is £3950 including delivery at your home address and full insurance during shipping. The car is located in Greece and it will be
shipped from here to your requested address. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks!"
Apparently I have some family in greece so I'm arranging for them to view the car first. Handy that!
As for the pic being in the UK, its a british plate on the front, but the back has an american plate covering the uk plate, i though he had just
blanked it off for ebay, but why bother if you can see the front one and if you look you can see something but not clearly as its whited out in the
flash. There isnt anything on the front as im sure it isnt compulsory to have a front plate in the US.
As for the truck, im sure its on the right hand side, and ive never seen one of those in the UK. Also most of the other cars in the pictures look very
american as do the houses and street.

Just saying that the plate matched the vehicle but not the year he claimed. I couldn't see the buildings in enough detail to comment where in
the world they might be, I'm not an architect.
