recently had an experience day and i spent the day driving one of these.

great fun and road legal

they will run on contaninated fuel reclaimed from fuel tanks of petrol cars filled with the wrong fuel, which can amlost be free if you have a friendly garage who wants to get rid of it.

the guy running the day was trying to sell them for £10k refurbished repainted and road legal, but hurry the army are buying them back as they are properly armoured unlike the new stuff

i would have one just for the look on the nebours faces.

1 mile per gallon, pah! That's not even trying.

I went paintballing a couple of years ago, and the bloke running it had loads of tanks and other cool toys. He had a Challenger tank that broke down in his woods. It took another tank to tow it out. The tank doing the pulling was doing 6 gallons to the mile!

Once he got it back to his yard he asked the army how to get it going again. They said just bump it. Just get a chain between the two, drag it along and then drop the clutch! Nice.

It's tempting to get it just to show the local Chelsea tractor drivers ( ) what it feels like to have a ridiculously large and dangerous vehicle hurtling towards you

And with it having more than 6 seats, you can drive it in bus lanes too

This is one of those times that you wish a relative you never new died and left you loads of money. One thing I was wondering... As is runs on tracks and not tyres, does the 1.6mm tread law still apply! The economy isn't that bad really. The monster trucks I saw at santa pod not so long ago do 30gallons to a mile, and that is on fuel which is about £10 per litre!
Rather interesting that it can run on "dirty fuel" I work for a fleet management company and we see on average 6cars mis-fuelled everyday. I could run it for free!
