Someone in the UK has build a DAX Rush using an Jet engine from a Bell Ranger helicopter if I'm not mistaking,

the entiry driveline weighed something like a 100KG's and produced the equivalent of 300hp or something in that aera, the turbine was however used to drive a driveshaft instead of it being proppeld by combustion thrust.

Now where did I leave that piccie?

That C5 sounds even cooler than a bec. I bet a 90 degree bend on the end of the exhost pipe would make the handling interesting.
