Could you use this as a donor?
I'd like to.

Might need a new wheel
Only problem is the service intervals are about 6000 miles.
Would be good on the drag strip though
How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

It would be easier as a Mid/Rear engine setup, so you can keep the engine transverse, as i dont think there are any setups using that engine
longditudionally

No they aren't!
The engine service intervals are 10-12k
The rear diff service intervals are 4.5k (service entails checking the oil level in the bottle in the boot and actuating the diff whilst the vehicle
is on a 4 poster lift to check for air locks)

Don't like this though:
quote:
WE HAVE HAD THE CAR RUNNING BUT DUE TO OIL COOLER DAMAGE NOT FOR LONG
Don't know how the oilcooler is plumbed in on the evo, but most use a takeoff plate between oil filter and oilpump so they ran it probably
without oil pressure

If you can afford to think of using that for a donor you're definitely in the wrong place I think
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

The service intervals are every 4500miles I owned an evo 8 in 2006 for 8 month,Sold it due to high running costs
