My BMW 320D SE 185BHP (but still >50MPG + £120/yr tax)

Currently only on Pistonheads (and not showing up if you browse to it normally through the categories):

Best to email me through the link on Pistonheads as I don't always notice that I've got PM's.

Nearly £7k & no leather.

Im not a fan of BMW's im afraid,Nice cars and built well but very expensive when it comes to getting luxury

Hope you sell it,Id of been interested if it had leather as the mrs wants one (Nothing i can do once her minds set)

TBH having had full leather I decided to avoid as its freezing in winter, sweaty in summer and slippy the rest of the time.

Half leather is probably the best compromise but AFAIK they don't do it on the E46.

And AFAIK its about £500 under the Parkers guide price, competitive with others on Autotrader (with more miles, not necessarily FBMWSH and almost certainly not a 10k mile old turbo).

Buy an early Audi A8 4.2 if you want luxury, but it won't do 50MPG will cost you more than £120 to tax, loads to insure and it won't be much faster at all unless you are fully ragging it.

And other turbo diesels with >300ft/lb's torque can't put it down as they are FWD. If they come near putting it down they toast there ~£500 dual mass flywheels (been there and almost done it with my A4).

But I guess I'm slightly biased

Really nice looking car that. Maybe a little over priced. I got mine with similar mileage, leather, full service history and problem turbo sorted as well as some extra bits with MV3 18" alloys and the same age for £6500 almost 1 year ago and i actually thought i was paying a premium for a mint car cause all the others in the trader were cheaper.
Good luck with the sell, really like that colour!

my aim is to build my own locost wether it takes me a week or 10 years to get started, i'm sure i will sometime

There are plenty of others that are more expensive but that said I'm open to (sensible) offers.

Also from a year ago perhaps the prices have firmed up a little for cars that just fall into the cheap tax bracket, but also shift and can do 50+ MPG

Ive got the tourer version. Absolutely love it. Fantastic engine even in std form. Im constantly amazed by how a high powered diesel can do so many miles per gallon. I dare bet you can beat 50 if you drive steady, ive seen 55 - 60 in mine on a run driving steady.

Bump for the weekend £6250 ono.

Come on lads, decent daily driver, RWD, >50MPG, £120/yr to tax and enough torque to pull your house from its foundations.
