2 grand for 135hp
i paid £150 for an engine developing just over 135hp (137 i think) with potential for a lot more!

The K series in my old GTM K3 had Lotus written on it. When I had the bonnet open at sprints, people always commented on the Lotus engine.

I'm not the world's best liar, so always came clean that the standard Rover spark plug cover had been cracked and that this Lotus one had cost 6 quid from ebay.....

It definitely went faster with that plug cover on though, no doubt.
Can't say about how fast a Caterham plug cover is though.
