just to update on this.

i ended up paying £3k for a mitsubishi L200, spent a couple of quid doing a service, cambelt, stainless exhaust, k&n induction (dont laugh it helps!), now doing a 4" lift and fitting some huge tyres so i can plan in the mud.

plus ive potentially got my speed fix!!!

bought a racing lawnmower in bits! plan to build it up and race next year, so may be looking for drivers for the 12hr races
