8v, pretty heavy, runs out of injector capacity at 185bhp-ish (anyone care to correct) a 5th injector is a common mod for those not wanting to do
their own induction system. As I recall the Sivlia (S12) uses semi-trailing arms a la Sierra/E30 3 Series etc but an LSD was not offered as an option
They engines were also fitted to the Reliant Sabre
(http://www.scimitardriver.co.uk/ss1-sst-sabre.htm) and I remember an advertisment insert
into CCC in the 80's when Nissan were flogging engines and boxes to kit/special builders.
For what it's worth, my SR20DE (I think) Primera engine is standard apart from LPG and has hit 9000 rpm
Good quality engineering.
Cheers,
Neil
