Ned,
I was talking to a friend who had a Sierra which was having its battery charged in preparation for its last ever journey (to the scrapyard).
Curiosity got the better of me!

Perfect. Removed/delivered today (by wheelbarrow). Cost. Absolutely nowt, though I'm gonna give him 20 quid for his time.

well, i'm sure charging the battery helped him get the car to the scrappy without a dif - NOT!
