I'm really sorry about your accident, and am so pleased you are OK.
However, I'd think twice about selling the seat belts. I know they may look OK, but they may have suffered some damage that can't be
seen, or the material may have deformed in some way that makes it look OK, but if you subject it to another impact load it could fail
catastrophically.
Just my 2p.

I don't think the steering wheel played any part in the eventual impact - it was disconnected at the time, IIRC...

ditto not using the belts again, sorry but they should be binned. I think you'll find the manufacturer will say the same.

The manufacture may say the same I agree. They also air on the extreme side of saftey thats what thier business is.
I genuinly feel that they are ok and took little stress during the accident. These belts have huge breaking strains and tolarencies. The car hit a
central resivation and span. Very little energy disapated forward. I have no bruises or marks on my shoulders from them.
I did mention that they were in the car when it crashed and many of people have already seen my post about the accident. If I honestly thought they
were unsafe I would not sell them. Considering I would use them if I could is justification.
My 2p worth!

I agree they should be fine. I'm a skydiving instructor for a living and safety harnesses of all types are way overbuilt and have to be. Ive
done over 3000 openings on just was set of my kit that has to decelerate upto 33 stone from 130mph to almost 2 in the space of 4 seconds. If you get a
hard instant opening your limbs would come off before it put an undue strain on the harnes, webbing, or stitched joints.
I cant see that car safety harnesses would be less well built of weaker components.
