Zetec head gasket thickness

Does anybody know of a pattern head gasket that is thinner than a genuine Ford item, for a 2.0 silvertop Zetec?

I am going to skim 0.5mm off the head, and hopefully find a 0.5mm thinner gasket to raise the compression.

This should still leave me enough for a head skim/blown head gasket, at a later date.

Thanks in advance

Focus RS is a 3 layer metal head gasket, ST170 is a 4 layer metal gasket. Both are thinner than the standard silvertop gaskets, but I can't find out by exactly how much....

Thanks for that.

I take it the later gasket will fit the silvertop?

yes, it will. If you find out the exact thickness of any of the gaskets, do let me know.
