Yes, quite big isn't it.

I think he should put a telly in there.

FWIW. This car has been on e-bay at least 3 times from this guy. It is technically a good package (lots of the right bits, great engine), but it looks like Stevie Wonder did the design work (if not the build). It might be better in real life but it seems that no-one wants it for the £5k he has been asking.

Picture removed ......

Reason.....those green wellies and flower pot hat were a tad risque for a 'family' forum......so it's naughty-step for Ben.........

I bet if it had been a female in the picture noone would of said anything. Risky is the many female avatars but noone complains about that.

I'm ignoring the man in the green wellies...

The Phoenix looks like it would need a far bit of work. Can't belive that bulge is really necessary....would be an OK, style wise, without. Would cost a fortune to put on the road though.

Ben Copeland! Wait til I see Alison week after next!!!!! I was temped to put I see your extension is coming along but it was wrong on so many levels I had to stop myself!!!

Jeff since my passenger ride in your Phoenix at Lydden I have been very impressed with them but then I saw this and realised how "sorted" yours is. It's hard to spoil the lines of the car but this bloke has managed it comprehensively!

CBR1000RR IS THE CLUE..ITS TALLER THAN THE ROCK AT EDINBURGH CASTLE.
The rules state it has to run without mods.
The original sump is deep and the airbox is the biggest ive ever seen. its a bugger to mod as it has secondary injection.

wrong engine for the car chassis

"more BHP will be produced. "

Yes, but your drag coefficient goes through the roof!

Nice car without the bulge, but a mess under the bonnet.

You wouldnt buy this to put it on the road surely? It would take far too much work.

Kindest Regards,
Richard.

I think it's a bargain at that price for the spec you get, but yes..... the bulge.....

I think I'd be reaching for the spanners as soon as I got it home, sell the CBR1000 lump on ebay and buy/fit an older R1 lump with the proceeds. And a new bonnet.

In fact I'm tempted by it now. Dammit!

There is a lot of work there and for a square tube chassis (not the STM/Raw round tube) seems a lot of money.
