don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

I'd definately buy it if it was a Jag engine, but I've not heard much of Aguar......

I had one before I went for the RS4 V8 engine... quite big and heavy (funnily enough!) and the eaton supercharger is just about as big and heavy! Strong engine though!

Two years old??? Looks like it's been buried! Will need the heads off and a good clean inside!

I remember I had the inlet manifold off the XKR engine I had and my (then) 3 year old nephew was 'helping' me. I went to the toolbox and when I came back he was fiddling with the inlet ports. I asked what he was doing and he told me he was 'posting' thins in the 'holes'... took me bloomin ages to pull it all apart!

note he says it was 'removed as part of a recall' ..... do you think that means something is knackered?

(why else would you remove an engine at 2 years as part of a recall?)

Yes, they did. Later engines reverted to steel.
Probably best to stear clear.
Then again, if it's a coffee table you're after....

could be this?

if it is, seems like a lot of work to replace a whole engine rather than the offending part itself
