Obviously not a high quality jack, but for £15 from Lidl, will be more than happy doing the occasional lift.

I bought a couple of sets of those axle stands and like you said, occasional use they are fine. Had them a couple of years and one set still works.

i have the axle stands and they ok.
Mate bought the jack a few years ago and its still going. Much the same as my halfords one.

Lidl kit is very good quality. Some of their kit is built for the German market and you know how fussy they are about goods. The other point about
Lidl kit is that the majority of it comes with a 3-year warranty.

The stands are quite good, I was using mine last weekend, had them a couple of years. I like the idea of the swiveling jack handle, the normal ones
always seem to be in the wrong place just after you have lifted the car!
Phoned the local ramblers club today, but the bloke who answered just
went on and on.

I've had a lidl trolley jack 4 yrs now and its fine. Swivelling 2 piece handle on it.
