Bloody hell.

Then again, how much is a new chassis from Caged? Unless it's been Cat'd on the insurance it could be a nice little refurb....

In that case.... 6.5K for an engine, loom, exhaust, gearbox..... assorted fittings etc... does NOT seem right to me! But neither does the crazy price that caterfields seem to sell for either!

It is, by definition, half a collection of spare parts:

Category B
A vehicle from which spare parts may be salvaged, but the bodyshell should be crushed and the car should never return to the road.

Probably, on balance, NOT a good buy.

On the other hand, this might be worth buying............................

he can not legally sell a Cat B vehicle.

I suggest we all send him a message asking him for his ELV certificate number so that we can report him to the appropriate authorities for selling vehicles as a whole that should be broken into parts.

In addition to that he should not have been able to buy it if he does not have the correct permits/lisences.
