Cheap 2.0 Zetec for someone

As some of you may already know, I put my father in laws Mondeo on Ebay in a no reserve auction

Ebay Linky

However in a moment of misspelling madness I've titled it Modeo instead of Mondeo - Dohh! As it's already been bid up to £72 we've decided to let the auction run it's course - he wasn't exactly expecting to see fortunes for it anyway, just wants it off his drive, so might be source of a cheap engine for someone - or perhaps the basis for a Valdris!
Happy Bidding!

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1

Is the clutch that bad that it won't drive away? Would it make it ~100 miles via the M25?

I would assume that such a trip if it is at night, nice cool day and no traffic there could be a chance

From when I last drove the car I would say, treated sensibly probably would do 100 miles plus, just wouldn't want anyone to set out without a backup plan - once they're slipping badly they can suddenly disintegrate!
