VDO Speedo, black, digital, 80mm

My speedo is nearly dead : weird readings due to dampness... cupboard trick doesn't work anymore, so I think it's close to the "fubar" level...

If a member has a spare speedo due to an upgrade... Mileage is not important as long as it's working and with the mph/kmh conversion..

Specs : 0-140 mph, 80mm, black

Thank you

The speedo gives a good speed reading (needle). The problem comes from the digital display : it flinkers, comes and goes, becomes blank, comes back for a while...

Interesting. My 80 mm VDO speedo runs off the Granada type 9 inductive sender and has been fine for four years. Last four months it reads fine for about the first 15 minutes of a trip and then reads about two thirds speed for as long as the drive lasts. I do usually see some condensation on the inside of the glass for the first 30 minutes of a drive but this is so for all the VDO gauges.
Common problem?
