206 cc cambelt change and service

Not that I can't do the work, just my tintop is run through my company books.
I got a quote from my "referral" local garage.
Full service £238
Cat £291
Cambelt change (includes water pump) £448

I nearly fell off my chair!

Anyone recommend a garage that will stamp my service book and have debit card facilities to do the above only a bit cheaper?

Buggeration.

I paid £220 for a belt/tension/w.pump for the 306 (16v 1800 petrol) when that was due all be it two years ago.

'Full' (plugs, filters, oil and a quick wipe over) service was i £90 locally or £110 dealership. Paid £65 for parts and did it myself.

Sounds more like it!
I'd do it myself but it's more beneficial to run it through my company.
Just need some recommendations closer to home

We take our Renault to France to get it serviced. For a 40,000 mile service our local Renault dealer quoted £275. We took it to france and had the same job done by a Renault garage for £112.00. I'm sure you will find a similar benefit if you try Peugeot in France. Bonne chance!
