carbs ??

hi all i can get some gsxr carbs if i want them but im wondering if its worth it?
ive gota 2.0 8v doch sierra engine

what sort of work is required to change it to carb setup and are these car good enought for this engine?

You will need a manifold made up and modify the throttle cable.
You will probably need to swap to a megajolt for spark, this will probably add 10 bhp

Why only 10bhp ?
fitting bike carbs was the biggest bhp maker mod to my engine pound for pound

a manifold wouldnt be a problem to make (get made)

soo is it worth doing with these carbs & engine?

if i do run carbs what can i get rid of?

The one thing to be aware of the inlet manifold does have the thermostadt housing as part of it, it is possible to make but there are a few complications with it.

I have modified one to suit bike carbs.

I had the 8V in my previous build and found that with the carbs and megajolt the car performed very nicely and took me around Europe with no problems.
