Wanted: Bellhousing Ford Type E/Type 9 gearbox, Mi16 engine
Hi there. I'm going to use an Mi16 XU9J4 engine in my seven racer and I need a bellhousing that fits this engine and my Ford Type E gearbox.
These bellhousings have previously been produced by Quaife and Flowtech.
If someone have something like this that they would be willing to sell, I would be interested.
Please send me a u2u or use this thread... Thanks
Cheers, lochraceness

Bellhousing
Have you considerd using a gearbox from a ldv pilot, they use a peugeot 1900d which i belive is the same bolt pattern as the mi xu engine you can get
a gearbox for about £50 on ebay, and also a cradel to hold the engine it might be worth a look

Thank you very much for your reply!
I have considered it but I'm not sure if it's too large or not. The car I have is very similar to that of Ron Champion's
'Build your own sportscar for as little as £250' and the gearbox tunnel is not very wide.
It probably would be a good idea to try and find the measurements of this box, but I was hoping to obtain a bellhousing made for the Ford Type E box
and the Peugeot XU engine as I already have such a box.
Cheers, lochracness
