Somehow I doubt it will go for £1600 though. Shame, that engine would be a giggle in a locost.

Not enough power, only 80bhp/litre. Needs a couple of turbos

Not bad for a 7500rpm 400bhp v8. with gearbox and ecu.

Less than buying a zetec/TB's/ECU and having it all set up.

Bit heavy but loads of fun when still in the M5. I miss mine, well except the fuel bills!

True, shame it was an iron blocked v8 in the M5. A 540i v8 engine is alloy blocked though
