FS: Tonnes of 1.8 CVH bits, top & bottom gasket sets, cambelt, OF, spark plugs, plus lots more Locost Stuff
Hiya guys,
the project was terminated over 18 months ago but now I've had a more thorough clearout of the garage I've found more bits!
HT Leads & Distributor type thingy (can't remember the exact name for it) £5 posted
Handbrake £5 posted
Gates Cam Belt brand new in box for 1.8 cvh, £16 brand new, £10 posted
Spark plugs to fit 1.8 cvh injection, £6/each new would be £24 plug postage, how does £12 posted sound?
Various Seals & gaskets (valve stem seals and what I'm guessing either/or water pump gasket/oil pump gasket plus what looks like a crank
seal? Not 100% so it's down to the buyer to check) Can't find this exact set on burton power so if someone could let me know what they
cost new?
Oil filter to fit 1.8 cvh - £5.36 new, £3.50 posted
CVH head bolts (aka stretch bolts) - £3.50 each new, 8 of these brand new in the box so £20 posted?
Sump/bottom end gasket set - £30 brand new on burton power! (http://www.burtonpower.com/cv754k.html) - so how about £18 posted
Head gasket set - http://www.burtonpower.com/cv739bk.html - £37 new from burton power... £22 posted
Some kind of track rod end looking type component? think it was donated by a friend when I first started out on my project - £5 posted
Various Haynes Roadster Spec chassis plates - £5 posted
Brake pads to fit calipers from 1.8cvh sierra sapphire - EBC
label on EBC pads box to suit orion, escort, sierra... Pretty sure these were about £40-50 brand new, so looking for £25 posted
EBC brake shoes for sierra sapphire 1.8 (k reg)
QH Component - unsure of what it is or what it's for? £4 posted...
Bearing - I *THINK* it's for the waterpump?? it's 34mm in diameter with a centre of 14mm? £2.50 posted
GSX-R SRAD Carburettor's - bought these from ebay for £45 + £5 posted These *DO HAVE* the Throttle position sensor connection on them so will
work with megajolt... to locostbuilders: £45 posted.
I have 2 boxes (only 1 pictured!) of bits from when I bought a 1.8 silvertop zetec on ebay, lots of bits of loom, brackets, air inlet plastics, ECU,
bolts, etc... (sold the 1.8 silvertop about a year ago). Please please please take the contents off me for free. Ideally collection only but if you
want small postable bits then I will try my best to help you out.
I still have the 1.8 CVH engine, although it is in 2 halves at the moment. The block is in one piece with the crank and pistons all still assembled,
and the cylinder head is submersed in white spirit with the valves reconditioned (albeit with a bit of surface rust), the rockers and springs are
floating around somewhere, and the camshaft is in good condition. If anyone wants to come and collect this engine, £20 and it's yours
(I've been told it's worth that much in scrap but assembled it'll be worth much more to a locoster - I just don't have the
time and want the space..)
Also available is the V5 document with 2x vin plates taken from the vehicle (long gone to the scrappers in the sky) which is currently declared as
SORN'd.. If you've built your vehicle from lots of different parts but want to avoid a Q-Plate then this could well help you to get an age
related plate (providing that IVA rules haven't changed so much in the last 2 years that I am completely WRONG)... £15-£20?
The haynes manual for the escort and orion (covers the CVH engine) - £8 posted
All of these items are on my '7 day shelf' - if they're not bought & posted or collected & paid for in person within the
next 7 days, they're all going in the bin so please feel free to make me an offer on any of the above items, I'd rather see them go to
good use than end up as rubbish. If any of the prices quoted (particularly on the more expensive items) are a wee bit high, please do make me an offer
as I'll more than likely accept.
Also in the interests of fairness, please pop a post below stating "pm sent re: brake pads" so that other people are aware you may have
first dibs on them. If you don't do this and arguments arise as a result, the person I sell to is my final decision and I won't be held
responsible for any toys thrown out of the pram or entering any discussion re: the decision process. Luckily these forums are generally a very
friendly place so this shouldn't happen Payment is by Paypal or Cash in person ONLY, so if your nigerian brother wants to pay by escrow and
have the items shipped to his good friend who 'make a nice deal in morocco' - sorry, it's not happening.
Thanks for looking, any questions/comments/ideas for sale etc. are welcome! Cheers guys & happy new year

First item is the coil pack, with what looks like zetec leads. They will fit a cvh with trimming but are a tad short for most installs.
Im interested in the sump gasket and oil filter please, and the plugs if they are BCR8ES's which are the most common as I understand it. £30 for
the three items posted?

Coil Pack!! Had a complete mental block and couldn't remember so thank you for that buddy...
Just pulled one of the spark plugs in from the garage and they are BCPR6ES (with 2330 written above). I can offer it into the cylinder head to make
sure it fits before posting if you like?
With the Sump Gasket Set (£18), Oil Filter (£3.50) and spark plugs (£12) totalling £33 - how does £30 posted for the lot sound with a nod to combined
postage?
Thanks for your interest

No worries.
It appears the additional P stands for projected, ie the electrode sticks out a little more, what the 6/8 signifies i dont know. Proberbly totally
fine for for the sake simplicity and known ground i'll give it a miss and stick with what i know.
With the Sump Gasket Set (£18), Oil Filter (£3.50) for £20 posted? Will U2U my address
