Mangos' is a copy by Van Gogh

Vincent was knocking them out at £20 a pop. They've done the art world a favour by getting it out of view in my opinion. I think it's an awful picture. What was he thinking of? It's probably a Norwegian thing.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Edvard Munch (1863-1944) was a Norwegian painter who made this painture after a walk with some friends through a field where he had a vision of fear.
Van Gogh died in 1890 when Munch was only 27 years old.
When there was any copying involved i think it was Munch who copyied the style of Van Gogh.
IMHO
