That's probably about average for the year and age to be honest, you can pick these up very cheap. I'm surprised no one has developed a
mid engined kit around these to be honest.

nearest thing is maybe the Libra/Spyder? MGF engine in mine, MGf linkages, rover electrics etc.
I agree given the price of donors it is a wonder that a seven hasnt appeared using the whole lot.
