Factory Built MNR Vortx RT
Not only was this car factory built by MNR (www.mnrltd.co.uk) it is chassis number 0001 and as such is quite a famous car. It has featured in Kit Car
Magazine and even starred in ITV's "Take your Mother-in-Law".
Quotes from Iain Hyne of Kit Car Magazine when he road tested this actual car include:
"Sheer excellence of the ride"
"Beautifully positive gear change"
"Steering is brilliant"
"The handling is all anyone could wish for in this type of car"
"The brake balance is perfect"
Engine & Transmission
Powered by 919cc Honda Fireblade and fitted with Dynoject kit and Piper air filter.
6 speed sequential gearbox
Barnett Kevlar clutch with uprated springs fitted
MNR 4 into 2 into 1 exhaust with stainless steel silencer
Pro Tech shocks
Quick rack steering
Interior
Odyssey seats but I also have GRP seats which will be included in the sale so you can choose which look you prefer.
4 point Sabelt harnesses.
"D" shape steering wheel with quick release boss
Push button start
Large cabin area suits drivers up to 6'6"".
Exterior
Daytona Yellow with black carbon look front wings, purpose made MNR black aero screen and MNR bonnet air scoop.
TSW rib alloys fitted with Toyo R888s - as new (hardly worn)
Lockable boot lid - which is an excellent addition if you are out on a road trip
Custom made 3d Blade graphics
12 months MOT and 11 months road tax.
Never been in the wet and never been on the track.
It can be found on ebay at

Currently the car is selling for £5,000 and has no reserve so it will sell, if you are looking for a winter bargin then I am pretty sure this is one
of best on ebay or Pistonheads.
Any questions just let me know.

It certainly is. I missed the program but it sounded interesting, mentioning that you spent £17k on a kit car to the mother-in-law is probably not the
wisest thing to do though.

That was the first BEC I went out in. Rizla took me out and it sold me on an MNR.
Now on my second 7 years later
