OT: .22 Rifle for sale
I know there are some shooters on here, so thought I would post a link.
I need this gone as my new rifle is arriving soon and I only have an authority for one .22 on my license.
It's already the lowest price Anschutz 1415/16 in the country, but I will do a cracking deal for anyone who will collect it before Monday 21st
Feb.

Hi, Beautiful rifle at very good price. I wish I'd kept my firearms licence when they took all our pistols away but at the time I was getting
over a bad motorbike crash and didn't think I'd be walking again let alone shooting.
Hope your new rifle serves you as well as this one.

Hope so Mike... that wee Annie was an oldie, but a goodie! Anschutz make very good products, so my new Browing will have to go some to match it!

doesn't look a lot of money for that.
How hard is it to get a licence?

Providing you have reasonable grounds to own one, then not hard at all.

if you join a target club its very easy. I have target club use of a few guns and vermin control with a .22 and .17 HMR rifle.

Hi
I have a 12 bore Sariugarte over & under + a really old A&N side by side hammer 410 on my shotgun licence
But my favourite by far is a 12 bore Winchester pump 7 shot + 1, ex MOD bored to take the longer more powerful shells
But works fine on std. This is on my firearms licence . This is great for the Fox or Boars in France where you can buy
12 bore riffled slugs.
I'm Getting old & need to sell them before I kick.

It got sent it to it's new owner via my firearms dealer / TNT. Seems it got damaged in transit. TNT think they must have placed something
'heavy' on top of the box. Heavy!? I didn't realise TNT transported elephants!

Re the Pump action are you allowed 7 + 1 I thought you were only allowed 1 in the barrel and 2 in the stock. Always fancied turning up at the very
exclusive Clay pigeon shoot with one of those !!
Just intrested as I have just re appllied ( after a 3 year break ) for my shotgun licence as I want to ensure that I can inherit my dads collection
when the time comes.

A shotgun that can hold more than 3 shots is a Section 1 Firearm, so goes onto the firearm license and not a shotgun one. Authority for them is
getting harder to obtain.
PS - I suspect you would be sneered at if you turned up at a very exclusive clay shoot with a semi-auto shotgun!

Pump action
Hi
As I have other guns on my firearms licence
The pump action is on that , (not allowed on shotgun licence !)
There is only one place where I have used it for clays
And they stipulated I must keep the gun pointing upwards when not actually shooting.
This is because you cannot see if there is one up[ the spout, nor break it.
Now only keep it for use on vermin or in case of la revolution.

Most of us would see the humour in this statement. BUT a few may regard it as a serious remark. In todays society you never know who's taking
notes.
If it looks wrong it probably is wrong.

Ahhh clears it up ! My freind who has one ( and a fully auto ) both limited to 3 shots . He has a bright orange Breach clip that he fits when not at a
stand. I shot with an composite auto last time out and found its balance ( and lack of weight ) made it a joy to use the fact that I dusted everything
moving for the stand I used it on helped ;-).
