I second that - I saw one of the earlier ones called Chronos which starred Ron Perlman; it wasn't really a horror but it did have quite a creepy and very unique feel to it.

I thought that clip was really good - the lack of background music really helps to build the suspense. For some reason (and I've never thought about it watching any other horror movies) I couldn't help but wonder if the acting in movies like that had some kind of impact on the kids...

I only watch films with puppy dogs, fluffy kittens and happy endings nowadays.

Same here! Ive only watched one scary film and that was enough to put me off for life! It was a very scary film though, It was about a VW beetle with a mind all of its own!

It's using the old grudge/ring/hole "un-natural awkward but fast movement" thing, which is wearing a bit thin but still sends shivers when you're not expecting it.
