Headlight Wiring

Hi all, can anyone advise on what coloured wire is which when it comes to headlight wiring, ive binned my old 7" lights in favour of some dominators, but im trying to work out what colours do what.

The 4 wires i have in the car loom are.....

Black
Blue with red chaser
Blue with white chaser
Red with black chaser.

Just trying to figure out which is sidelights, dipped beam and main beam.

Cheers all...

If you have got a multimeter, the easiest way to find out would be to check all wires for continuity to earth (probably be the black one) then turn the sidelight switch on and see what wire has 12v, then dipped beam switch, then main beam switch. Hope that makes sense.

Ron said it would cost 250 quid. My wife thinks it did.

Bugger !!!

Can you just check for continuity between the earth wire and the other 3 as you switch the switches.
