Stylus or Fury wanted
Hi,
Looking for a SSC / Sylva Stylus or Fisher Fury.
Must be very well put together, no bodges or shortcuts.
Must have a fairly modern engine - looking for a Zetec, Red top, 4age etc or even V8 with c. 170bhp minimum, may consider an older Pinto/Crossflow car
for a transplant if priced accordingly.
Must have a full screen and ideally a carpeted interior - this will be a tourer not a track car.
Willing to travel.
Please let me know if you have anything I might be interested - my budget is up to around £8500 but it would need to be a good one at that price.
Thanks,
James

Dopdog has a cracker but it's a competition car. But you could probably get it on the road on your budget

Dopdog's car is fantastic value, itt would cost a lot more to put together anything similar.
Busa' make good tourers, plenty of torque to pull you around.

Sounds like a great car but it would be a little too focused for what I'm looking for.
Cheers,

Didn't it have brake failure and a big oil leak though....?!

Correct; faulty brand new brake master cylinder and a rocker cover gasket leak (both now replaced and problem's rectified to my knowledge).

Yes my car did have brake issues, but now has new m.cs and new pipes The oil leak was also just a gasket and seal. In the world of kit cars a very
minor niggle....

I have a R1 Fury I might sell, but I see your after a CEC with full screen.
But I was thinking of changing the tub, this could be done by yourself.
