Looks more fun than my visit recently.
I did the pass in a diesel A4
Great fun though even in that.
I did wonder why they bothered with the European funded parts when they pinch down to single track with no warning!

If you are into public tarmac then these roads are the best in the uk. The scenery is absolutely to die for on a sunny day. Frankly I feel safer
around Knockhill. The standard term is "red mist" it overcomes normally quite sane people and they end up driving like complete idiots.
One local was heard to say on that trip "this is not a bloody race track". I have done it myself. I think I should stick to tracks in
future, much safer.

Funny you say that.
I was visiting a customer in Applecross. When we were talking about my journey from Achnasheen (overnight stop) he said he can get there in an hour
which would put his average speed 20mph above mine. So the locals do use it as a race track!

First time on the Bealach.........
1989.........late summer evening , mist , mirk and drizzle............Opel Manta GTE coupe..........epic !!! Most of the roads in the North West of
Scotland are a fantastic drive . Durness down to Ullapool in the MK last year was amazing to say the least !!
