I've seen quite a few of these seven style cars that have simply had their donors plates put on them. Surely this would be picked up at the MOT,
or by the police ANPR cameras showing it as a classic ford???
Or, are the police/MOT centres not trained enough to know these need the IVA and correctly registered with the DVLA before being put on the road?
If it ain't broken, fix it anyway (just because).

Although the car isn't what it says on the v5 and the DVLA system, MOT stations don't seem to be bothered.
Police don't seem to be bothered unless its parked illegally or trips a speed camera and they can get a fine
Insurance companies definitely wont be bothered providing the premium is paid (until a claim is made).
Ebay don't care that they list a car running an illegal identity.
OK for those of us in the know but some poor sap stands to have a really bad kit car experience.

Usual questionable assemblage of scrap, with questionable legality, offered at a price that displays unquestionable greed.
The usual.

I went to view this car about 2 years ago, it had a 1.8 zetec in it then, didn't run. Its really badly put together, welding is atrocious in
places. He wanted 5 grand for it then.
I heard he sold it around 3 months ago to a lad local to him for a grand, not sure who's selling it now but I'm sure the pictures are
taken where i viewed it.
