Does 140l/m convert to 5cfm? There are some 1/2" impact wrenches from machine mart that only need 4cfm, so may work. Or do you think the size of
the tank would be a problem?

I've got one of those on my pushbike, it doesn't update quick enough to use on a car. It jumps straight from 2 to 8mph then up to 18mph.
You have to keep an even speed to get a reading out of it so you wouldn't have a clue till you levelled off on the pedal.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

i have a similar small compressor. Im gonna buy an air receiver rather than upgrade it, and just let it fill it at will. even 1cfm will fill it
eventually! (4 hours actually... )

I've got a 1.5 hp 25 litre compressor and its not much good to run air tools like drills/grinders etc...a much bigger tank/air receiver would be
better.

Will the pump keep up with the air loss from the tanks though?

NO.....its just not up to drilling and grinding at all... I keep having to stop - only after a minute or two at most......so I always go back to
electric tools..
I want/need a bigger compressor/receiver tank but am tight for space
screwfix have an upright 1.5hp/50 litre one for £79.99 which would be a bit better, but I stilll don't think it would be enough.
there was a new 3hp/100 litre upright one on ebay last week, went for £230 though

1.5 hp will run impact wrenches and is just about good enough for a small nozzle spray gun.
the big air users are die grinders, cut off tools and air saws I have two 1.5 hp compressors that I couple together even then I don't have
enough cfm for my cut off tool.
