seriously though, put bigger wheels on it, chop the roof off and do that bit again and it wouldn't be quite so bad, but you'd be better starting from scratch with a scale airfix kit and getting it scaled up and making the moulds from a section of bulkheads based on the scaled model imho

still expensive and time consuming and risk being sued lol

Presumably that 'thing' is a shell to drop over a normal car isn't it? Seeing as it's got two seats and high roof?
