Ideal doner material, so I've heard.

Have you read the description?

"Body - needs inner and outer front wings, the sills are completely shot, general surface rust.

Interior - average for year but driver's seat broken and passenger window has never worked.

Windscreen- cracked

I would not call it roadworthy!"

Besides which I have no soul, I've broken three Mk1 Escorts, including an RS2000 and an Alfa Guilletta, a Lancia Monte Carlo, two Stags and a Dolly Sprint, not forgetting my rather forgettable Renault Fuego (ask your dad) and an original "W" plate XR3 (no bloody i in site). Three Mini pickups went the same way, but who cared? They were £30 apiece and two a penny. Clubman vans, Corsairs, a Flying Pig (ask you dad about them too), too many to mention. Only thing they have in common is that they all met my gas axe.

I know about Renault Fuegos! I'm into the old car scene. There was a lovely yellow one at the Retro Cars show, suffered a puncture unfortunately.

My favourite renault by far! I know far more about cars than my dad so theres no point asking him anyway!

Adam

Mine was "burnt orange" although it started off fire engine red. Best seats ever though.

Bloke I bought it off (£30) was a big army man and used to go to Belgium for the WW1 services every year. The year he went in the Fuego the back box fell off while he was showing his mother the battlefields of Pachendale, and as he knew that the old metal detector boys still trawl the area, he buried it in the ground.

Might look a bit like the old kraut 'tatty masher with a bit of rust on it I suppose.

Can't complain, it never let me down, apart from the rust. Heaviest tailgate ever made, being all glass, and the boot sill was about three foot of the ground, and the mold was a little annoying.
And the insurance was a mighty sum of coins.
