Well I would like to but I have a space issue and I would like to spend a bit more on the car.

Mrs Mookaloid says the bike has to go if I want to spend more on the car.......

So how much are you looking for for the Beezer? It'd look nice in the garage next to my 1933 Sloper 600!

Have you got a picture of the sloper? I would like to see that.

A friend of mine has one and I have to say up to about 25 mph it is quite rapid!

Not sure how much mine is worth really - I would hope some where near the £2k mark. What do you think?

Cheers

Mook... dont let it go for less than £1900.
It is worth every penny of that.
I have a 1949 Enfield G in the loft awaiting assembly after full restoration, but I wont do it until I have a private garage.

I'm after a B31 if anybody has one spare. Condition does not have to be great.

Update

I have discovered that the reg number

DSK 4 69 might be worth more than the bike

So I'm afraid I have pulled it for now - pending further investigations.

Any one know anything about selling interesting reg numbers?

Cheers

Mark

That's such a beautiful bike. I would cut the Mrs. allowance or send her back to her parents before I'd let that bike go.
Ive had a lot of old British bikes (including a plunger frame B31, gazza285), but I never had a 650 BSA twin.

Just sell it! There are plenty of agencies who won't actually buy it, but will advertise it for you and take their cut.

If you do sell it (and I personally would never split the number from the bike) Swansea will give you an age-related (i.e. same number format as you have) but it will be non-transferrable for obvious reasons. You will devalue the bike a bit if you do this - lost provenance and all that.

No but I know about buying them!
Since you pulled it from ebay I just bought my Mrs a reg number for her birthday with the bike money

Seriously, I have the same situation with one of my bikes, not sure i'd ever part with the bike ,but if I did then I think if you want to sell then just do it, if you don't the next bloke will. Ring up a couple of the reg no people and ask what they'll give you, I guess thats about £800-1000, my threenumber, three letter is, but not sure that they pay you up front or just sell it for you when they get a buyer?
