More cheap stuff at Makro....
Notably a pair of bucket seats for under a hundred quid and a 2.3kwh diesel genny for the same price!!! Plus the dreaded VAT but still worth a
look!!

Seats
Look Ok, but dont know how much protection they would give in a shunt, also I'll bet they are to wide, anything above 410mm could cause
problems.
Still £99 pounds for two, you could always just put them in the garage for the odd tea break.

You is right!!
The only 2.3kwh ones I have seen in store, and in the last issue of the brochure thingy, were the diesel ones. I will investigate!!

Generator
Has anyone looked at, or bought, the generator. I am very interested in buying one before the winter really kicks in, but my nearest Makro is
Aberdeen, which is 250 miles away. Therefore i would probably buy it over the phone and organise a courier to collect it.
I would prefer a 3KW one, but 2.2KW might not be too bad. Its only for running a few lights, central heating pump etc during power cuts (which happen
all the time where i live). With a 3 year old and a 4 week old baby i need the re-assurance of a generator in the garage.
Any reviews or comments appreciated.
Any other recommendations appreciated.
EDIT:
I just phoned Makro and all the stores in Scotland are completely sold out of the generators now.....must have been a bargain then!
Any other good deals that you know of?
