Cheap generators from Screwfix

OK, they're only 720W but might be some use. I've got one ordered anyway

Piece of crap IMHO I got one from Macro a year or so ago. it worked on small loads say up to 300 W any single big load like a 500W drill would stall it, left it alone for a few weeks and it wouldn't re start though one of my collegues a bike nut and familiar with 2 stroke did get it started again I don't trust it for any emergency or critical task.

Wont run a kettle... kettle is 1800 to 2200 watts, this will only deliver 750/800 Max..
Its only a little beastie. Ideal for your caravan etc
Excellent for some lighting and to keep the fridge/freezer running and posibly the central heating in an emergency. No much cop for anything like running a kettle or an 800watt drill.
Just look at the power rating on your device to see if this will run it.

And NO... you cant run two in parrallel. unless you can sync up the phase.

Do you sums

If you need to run something heavier power wise.. then get a bigger genny

except most commercial sites have banned them.

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
