"There are laods of other bits that i forgot to mention" No you didnt! otherwise u wouldnt have written that!

"Hard work done". Hmmm, so its not going to have any pedal box, tranny tunnel or behind seat panneling? Electrics? Dash? Bulkhead? Engine rebuild? (what engine is is by the way?) Cooling system?

I guess there are loads of other bits that i forgot to mention!

To be fair though. GRP, Manifold, Harnesses, Fuel tank, Shocks are worth the asking price.

Talking of shocks. Arent the front shocks at a bit of an odd angle? Think its because of the wide front bones?

indeed, im guess the components might well total 500, esp if the grp is in good nick - its just the cliche of the 'nearly finished locost on ebay'

I used to tell people mine was 'nearly finished'. I genuinley believed it at the time. How wrong was I? lol! Many years have passed since and i have learnt my lesson.

Best bit is that loads of people tried buying it off me and saying that i'd never finish it by myself.

How wrong were they? lol!

Looking at the ripples in that bonnet, you would need spend £500 on filler. At a rough guess would put that at about 25% done, still LOADS to do. Ray

A bit off topic to say the least!

But was wondering if your stripes are painted or stuck on graphics?

Having thoughs of something similar myself. After i paint my bonnet yellow that is.

Go for vinyl rather than paint, it looks just as good but is so easy to apply and then later remove. I guarantee that you will eventually regret spraying them on if you chose that method. Oh and one other point, use black pinstripe on the edge of the stripe as it improves the look no end.
